AHIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of AHI Carrier Fzc, Sharjah, UAE a Carrier Corporation (“Carrier”) joint venture company. AHIC offers modern and innovative heating and cooling, air conditioning solutions (“HVAC”). AHIC is the Australian distributor of Carrier and Toshiba brand residential and light commercial HVAC products. AHIC keeps a flexible forward sales structure (sales offices and dealer network) in Australia and builds sales support functions in a centralised back office (Sharjah, U.A.E). The strategy focuses on economies of scale and allows AHIC to quickly respond to opportunities in the sales area, in parallel builds a competitive system of product specification and technical support, logistics coordination, finance and M.I.S. AHIC also operates Totaline stores in Australia. Totaline stocks and sells a full range of HVAC parts, consumables & tools for residential and commercial HVAC applications.
AHI Carrier FZC, Sharjah, UAE is a joint venture company formed by Air-Conditioning & Heating International (“AHI”) and Carrier on 18 December 2008. The partnership between Carrier and AHI dates back to the late 1990s when Carrier appointed AHI as its sole distributor of Carrier product in certain territories in the Middle East and Europe. In 1999, Carrier and Toshiba Air-conditioning entered into a joint venture resulting in the Toshiba range of air-conditioning products being added for distribution in AHIC territories. AHIC distribution rights were expanded to include East and Central Africa, Australia, and New Zealand in 2010.
Today, AHI Carrier FZC is the largest Carrier joint venture company outside of the USA and has operations in 108 countries spanning 4 continents.
